Hello!
I’m Joe, a Cyber Analyst dedicated to strengthening digital defenses through integrity, precision, and continuous learning.
Featured Projects
(For Professor) I used a clickable hot spot with the key logger and the password strength tester and when you hover over the plus sign it will say “view project” and when you click it shows you about that specific project. Also the whole purpose of this website is a mock portfolio meaning I haven’t done these jobs but plan to do them in the future so kind of like a roadmap
Key Logger
Description
Developed a basic keystroke-logging tool in a controlled lab environment to understand how malware collects input data. Focused on secure coding practices, detection techniques, and defenses to help identify and prevent unauthorized keylogging attacks.
Password Strength Tester
Description
Built a password strength checker that analyzes user passwords for length, complexity, common patterns, and vulnerability to brute-force attacks. Designed it to provide real-time feedback and improve secure password creation practices.
Upcoming Projects
Stock Predictor
Description
I plan to create a stock prediction tool that uses machine-learning models to analyze historical stock data, technical indicators, and market patterns. The project will aim to forecast short-term price movements, visualize trends, and give users clear insights into market behavior. It will also help me deepen my understanding of data science, financial modeling, and algorithmic prediction methods.
Phishing Simulation
Description
I plan to develop a phishing simulation platform that generates realistic phishing emails and monitors user interactions to measure susceptibility. This project will focus on teaching employees or users how to recognize phishing attempts while giving administrators insights into overall security awareness.
(For Proffesor) When you click on upcoming projects you will be led to a 404 for page because I haven’t done anything for the upcoming projects because they are only ideas for now
What I Do Best
Cybersecurity & Threat Detection
Focus on understanding, detecting, and preventing real-world cyber threats through hands-on security projects and defensive tools.
Building Practical Security & Software Tools
I specialize in creating functional applications from security utilities to full mobile apps that solve real problems and demonstrate applied skills.
Secure Software Development
Focus on building applications with security in mind, using best practices to write clean, secure, and reliable code.
Work Experience
January 2020 – Present
Cybersecurity Analyst
Microsoft
Monitor systems for threats: Watch network traffic, logs, and alerts to spot suspicious activity like hacking attempts or malware.
Investigate and respond to incidents: When something goes wrong, they figure out what happened, stop the attack, and help fix the damage.
Protect and improve security: Set up and update security tools (firewalls, antivirus, SIEM), apply patches, and recommend ways to make systems more secure.
June 2017 – December 2019
Network Support Technician
Tech Innovators Inc.
Maintain and troubleshoot networks: Fix connectivity issues, switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and cabling problems.
Monitor network performance: Watch for outages, slow traffic, and errors, and help keep the network running smoothly.
